Hyosung GT650 Street Sports Bike (check out vs. Suzuki SV650) Motorcycle First do the research at www.hyosungUS.com. [Korean] Hyosung has been making Suzuki engines for some time, now they ve started to import their take of the SV650 to the us (as of 2004). Apparently it s quite popular in Europe and Australia. The engine is the same 647CC as the SV650 but is actually about ~7hp faster (79 hp). The other main difference is the steel vs. aluminum frame. This is a GREAT city/highway bike; most power is in low-mid range (V-twin) and off the line it pulls great. I ve never been beyond 5-6k (break in), and I m more than impressed already, I know you ll be too. It s pretty compact, so handling/cornering is also easy and predictable. You ve got to see this bike to really appreciate it. It is mostly stock, but changes include: -Givi windscreen -New Progrip grips (Blue to match the Bike s color) -Suzuki SV650 handlebar (gives a slightly more aggressive riding position then standard, but still very upright) -Black bar end sliders -Custom Frame sliders to protect engine, radiator, etc. during a crash The bike is PERFECT, was either covered or garaged, and still being broken in carefully (480 km or 300 miles only so far!). Still 400 miles to go before 1st service! Reason for sale? My wife and I both got bikes, but she basically fell out of the hype, and I don t ride enough myself to warrant keeping it (only 300 miles since August). The bike has a 2 year warranty starting Aug 2006. There are two dealers in PA, and in Brooklyn NY (where I got mine) so service easily accesible. All questions are welcome, please ask! I ll respond ASAP. I ll listen to reasonable offers. I have jackets, gloves, etc. other accessories as well which I can barter. Pictures link will be posted very soon, stay tuned!
