Supports up to 4 remote SIP extensions and any SIP-compliant ATA or IP Phone, though you will obtain the best performance using Linksys SPA9xx IP Phones. Includes Two FXS ports for legacy analog equipment such as telephones and fax machines. Even if you don t have the need for a full blown PBX, you will appreciate the ability to register the SPA9000 with up to four different Internet Telephony Service Providers allowing you to both make and receive calls on all service providers from a single telephone handset. The SPA9000 does not provide voicemail service. This is to be provided by the Internet Telephony Service Provider, though you may also use a specially modified version of the Asterisk Open-Source PBX to provide the functionality.
