This device was made to help eliminate chain suck and chain jumping that leads to damaged paint on the frame. The Drill Instructor is made of red anodized aluminum (100 g).
Description:
- Held onto the chainstay using two bolts.
- Inner foam rubber lining so your chain stay isn t damaged when the clamps are bolted in place.
In a case of a front overshift or a hard bounce while riding on the smaller chainring, the chain can fall or bounce into the gap between the crank arm and the bottom bracket shell. The nylon rollers prevents the chain from bouncing off by holding the chain up.
Note: The Drill Instructor was designed for round or oval chainstays. This device will not fit OVERSIZED square chain stays!
